About us

A small company
that finishes things.

Founded in 2022 and led by Mohan K, HackedIn Solutions builds software for businesses across India and the Gulf and trains the engineers who will build the next generation of it. We are deliberately small, and we intend to stay that way.

The short version

We started because
good work kept going
to the wrong places.

HackedIn Solutions began in 2022 with a handful of engineers who had spent a few years watching capable teams deliver mediocre outcomes. Not because anyone was bad at their job — because the structure was wrong. Projects were scoped by people who would not build them, staffed by whoever was free, and reported on in decks nobody could verify.

So we built the opposite. Small teams that own a problem end to end. Two-week increments that end in something you can open in a browser. Written scopes that say what could go wrong before anyone signs. And code, infrastructure and documentation that belong to the client from the first commit, so leaving us is always an option.

The internship programme came out of the same instinct. We kept interviewing graduates who had certificates and no evidence, so we started giving them evidence instead: real tickets, real review, a real deployment with their name on the commits. Over 450 engineers have been through it, and a meaningful share of our own team came from it.

Today we work across web, mobile, AI and connected hardware, from offices in Bengaluru, Vijayawada and Chennai, with clients in India, the Gulf, the UK and the US.

What we hold to

Six things we mean
rather than print.

Every company has values on a wall. These are the ones we have actually turned down work over.

01

Say the inconvenient thing early

If a deadline is not realistic, or a feature is not worth building, you hear it in week one — not in the retrospective. Bad news does not improve with age.

02

You own everything we build

Code, infrastructure, domains, accounts and documentation are yours from the first commit. No proprietary layer you have to keep paying us to maintain.

03

Working software beats a status deck

Every two weeks there is a URL you can open. Progress you cannot click on is not progress we will claim.

04

Teach as a default

Every project leaves your team more capable. Every internship leaves an engineer more employable. It is why a services company runs a training programme at all.

05

Small teams, whole problems

Three or four people who own a thing completely, rather than a dozen who each own a slice and none of the outcome.

06

Boring where it counts

Proven tools for the load-bearing parts, new ones where the upside is real. Nobody should be debugging our curiosity at 2am.

How we work

Six steps. No step where
you wait in the dark.

  1. 01 Days 1–3

    Scope

A call, then a written scope: what we will build, what it costs, what could go wrong, and what we would cut first if the budget tightened. You get that document whether or not you hire us.

  2. 02 Week 1–2

    Design

Architecture and interface designed together, so nothing is drawn that cannot be built and nothing is built that has not been thought through. You approve before code starts.

  3. 03 Every 2 weeks

    Build

Two-week increments, each ending in something you can click on a real URL. No status decks describing progress you cannot see.

  4. 04 Pre-launch

    Harden

Performance budgets, accessibility audit, security review, load testing and the runbook for the three incidents most likely to happen first.

  5. 05 Release week

    Launch

Staged rollout with monitoring in place and a rollback that has been tested. We are on the call during the release, not reading about it afterwards.

  6. 06 Ongoing

    Hand over

Documentation, a recorded walkthrough and a training session. You own the code, the accounts and the keys. Support afterwards is your choice, not a dependency.

In their words

The people who
actually do the work.

I have led data science work on DRDO projects here at HackedIn Solutions — defence-grade problems where the analysis has to hold up to scrutiny and the model has to work on the data you actually get, not the data you wanted. Very few places in the country give an engineer that kind of problem this early.
Sreekanth Lead Data Scientist
We are deliberately small and we intend to stay that way. Every client gets the engineers they met at kickoff, a working build every fortnight, and code they own outright. That is the whole proposition, and it is why our clients stay.
Mohan K Managing Director
The collaborative instinct here is real. Leadership listens to a new idea before deciding whether it is a good one, and the environment is inclusive and supportive without being soft on quality.
Bala Gangadhar Director
Working here means you are given room. The expertise on the development side is genuine, and we are pushing at what is possible rather than repeating a project we already did.
