Privacy policy

This policy covers HackedIn Solutions (https://www.hackedinsolutions.co.in). It explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do about it. If anything here is unclear, email ceo@hackedinsolutions.co.in and a person will answer.

The short version

• We collect what you send us in a form or an email. Nothing else is required.
• We do not sell personal data, and we do not run advertising on this site.
• We do not run a marketing mailing list, so you will not be added to one.
• You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you, and we will.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you use the contact form, apply for an internship, or email us, we receive what you chose to send: typically your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, the organisation or college you mention, and the content of your message. Job and internship applicants may also send a CV and links to work.

Information collected automatically

This site is statically generated and served without tracking pixels, advertising cookies or third-party analytics embeds. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp — for security and diagnostics. These are retained for a short period and are not linked to any identity.

Cookies

We set no cookies for advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking. If we later add privacy-respecting analytics, this page will say so before it goes live.

Why we use it

• To reply to you. The only reason we need contact details at all.
• To assess an application. CVs and portfolio links are reviewed by our hiring team.
• To deliver work. Where you become a client, to run the engagement and invoice it.
• To meet legal obligations. Tax and accounting records where the law requires.

Our lawful bases are your consent (when you contact us), performance of a contract (client work), and legitimate interests (running the business securely). We do not use personal data for automated decision-making.

How long we keep it

• General enquiries: 12 months from last contact.
• Job and internship applications: 3 months, unless you ask us to keep them on file longer.
• Client records: for the engagement plus the statutory retention period for financial records.
• Server logs: typically 30 days.

Who else sees it

A small number of service providers process data on our behalf — email hosting, cloud infrastructure and, where applicable, a form processor. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data with anyone, ever.

For client engagements, any data belonging to your systems stays inside your infrastructure wherever technically possible, and access is scoped to the minimum required. For AI work we document exactly what leaves your perimeter and configure zero-retention settings on third-party APIs.

Where it is stored

Primarily in India. Some providers process data in other jurisdictions, including the EU and the US; where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and, where it applies, the GDPR, you can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete it;
• restrict or object to how we use it;
• withdraw consent you previously gave.

Email ceo@hackedinsolutions.co.in with "Data request" in the subject. We respond within 30 days and we do not charge for it. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to the relevant data protection authority.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls scoped to need, multi-factor authentication on company accounts, and regular dependency patching. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise — but if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will tell you and the relevant authority promptly.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Internship applicants must be enrolled in or have completed a tertiary programme.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects people who have already contacted us, tell them directly.
