QA Engineer
You will be the person who asks the question nobody wants asked before a release. The role is half automation engineering and half genuine curiosity about how things break.
What you will do
- Write and maintain automated end-to-end and API test suites
- Own the release checklist and the go / no-go call
- Do exploratory testing on every significant feature
- Track defects with reproductions clear enough to fix from
- Build performance and load tests for critical paths
What we need from you
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress or Selenium
- API testing and the ability to read a network trace
- A structured approach to test design, not just clicking around
- Comfortable in a CI pipeline
Nice to have
Genuinely optional. We have hired people who had none of these.
- Mobile test automation on Appium or Detox
- Load testing with k6 or JMeter
- Security testing fundamentals
